I'm Here Review

I’m Here is a beautifully constructed and powerful short which will leave you in admiration. The tale follows Sheldon and his affection for the increasingly gawky Francesca. It tells human beings the morals for love as Sheldon quite exquisitely shows; if you love someone you will do literally anything for them. The fact that a robot is showing us this suggests that we wouldn’t be aware of this moral without outsiders’ help. We find throughout the narrative that he is constantly helping Francesca out and is potentially threatening his own life for the love of his life. She’s hospital bound – he’s hospital bound. We are encouraged to empathise with Sheldon as he’s portrayed as being so sweet and caring and female audiences are in awe of his warmth. Sheldon is extreme. He goes to lengths unimaginable and we discover this in the end when Francesca is wheeled out of the hospital holding just his head.

This picture shows Sheldon and Francesca lying together. This shot encapsulates their love and we are already adoring them both.
